The French House Review

I visited this place few weeks ago with two of my friends. We got there around 1 pm and it was busy, packed with people.

This is the look from the outside.

Inside, you could see the menu board up on the wall. I gotta admit, they have beautiful interior design.
There were only 2 staff inside, both of them look busy and seem disinterested in serving us.

I ordered scrambled eggs with goats curd, truffle oil and parmesan cheese on toast ($15) and vanilla tea.
Nothing special about the toast, and I wouldn't come back for it especially with its price tag.
I love the tea though, the vanilla is very subtle but still really nice.

Vanilla tea

My friends ordered smoked salmon croissant with poached eggs, sautéed spinach, avocado and hollandaise sauce ($18), a blueberry almondine ($6), a ricotta choc chip tartelette ($6) and a brioche custard.

I must say ricotta choc chip tartelette is my favourite of all three. The brioche is a bit hard.

I heard they have been getting heaps of good review about their coffee. Unfortunately, I can't really say much about their coffee because I don't drink coffee myself.

All in all I would give this place a 7/10.
