Shopping haul : crop tops and crochet short

Tuesday, May 20, 2014

Hey guys! I've been obsessed with crop tops lately and I recently picked up several of them, which I though might be nice to share with you.

So, let's jump right into it.

I went to Macarthur Square last Saturday. And I picked up few items from there.

First up, I got these tops from a store called ICE. They had '3 for $10' special. And I was so excited when I found out they sell caged bralette. Brandy Melville sell this very popular caged bralette top for around $19, but I didn't get it due to the cost of their international shipping.

God knows how much I love floral prints! So, it wouldn't be a surprise that I got one floral bralette and two caged bralettes.

I also picked few items from Supre. They had massive sale. They were originally $12-$20 but I got it for $2 each.

I love their basic tees, it is made from good stretchy cotton. Plus, I can't complaint with $2 price tags.

Also during that trip, I purchased a cropped knit from Dotti. The original price was $60, but I got it for $21.

The rest of the items below were purchased online.

My next two items were from TOBI. I used their 50% off first order deals.

I got this V neck top for $18 and the bralette for $10.

I'm really happy with their free express shipping. I received my package within a week. And I can't complaint with the quality of these tops. Plus, it looks exactly like the picture shown on their website.

Next, I got two items from lookbook store. They have free shipping too.

Ok, I think my picture doesn't do it justice. The crop top is very stretchy and soft, it fits me perfectly. The short, apart from being semi-transparent, it is very comfy. And I think you can fix this issue with an undergarment.

The next items were purchased from an ebay seller.

I got this in black, but I didn't quite like it. It is a bit tight around the chest.

I got this in salmon and I loved it. The material is very stretchy.

That's it for the mini haul. I hope that you guys enjoyed it.

Three Williams, Redfern

Tuesday, May 13, 2014

The buzz over Three Williams has been steadily growing over the past few months so I was excited when I finally got the chance to visit them last Saturday.

Me and Sopheap got there around 1pm. And we had to wait outside for about 20 minutes.

The Menu

So, I decided to try their glazed beef brisket narnie ($15). It was really good. The beef is juicy and melted in your mouth.

Glazed beef brisket, slaw, gherkins, chipotle mayo.

Sopheap tried their grilled prawns narnie ($15) and fish croquettes ($3 each).

Grilled prawns, tzatziki, hummus and sumac

And we both tried their peanut butter and caramel shake ($6). My gosh, it was amazeballs! if you ever visit them, you should definitely try this one.

We also tried their orange and poppyseed cake ($5), but I forgot to take the picture.  It was all right, in fact it was too sweet for our liking.

All in all we were really happy with our visit. I would give 8 out of 10.

Delicious food. Reasonably priced especially with their huge portion size. Friendly staff.
We will definitely come back for more :)
